500gThick, lean beef or sirloin steaks, all visible fat removed

200gBaby potatoes

200gBaby carrots, peeled

200gGreen beans, trimmed and halved

1Garlic bulb, cloves separated and peeled

1 tbspBlack peppercorns

2 tbspWhite wine vinegar
-
200mlBeef stock, boiling hot

2 tbspDried dill

-Salt

-Fresh dill, chopped, to garnish

Method

Place the beef, vegetables, garlic cloves, peppercorn, vinegar, stock and dill into the slow cooker pot and stir well.

Add the salt to taste, cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours or until the meat is tender.

Remove from the cooker and serve sprinkled with chopped dill.
