Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise, colloquially referred to as "mayo", is a thick emulsified sauce made by slowly incorporating a thin stream of oil into raw egg yolks. It also forms the base for various other sauces, such as Aioli, Tartar Sauce, Ranch Dressing, and Remoulade.
